Maritime fuel suppliers must send their contact information to Traficom

The Finnish law requires a public list of all of maritime fuel suppliers. These operators must inform their contact details to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom who publishes the details on its website.

The Act on Environmental Protection in Maritime Transport requires that all maritime fuel suppliers supplying maritime fuel in Finland must inform Traficom that they operate such service.

As notification it is enough to send an e-mail message titled “Notification from supplier of maritime fuel” to Traficom’s Registry (kirjaamo@traficom.fi).

The e-mail must include the supplier’s contact information for ordering vessel fuel. The contact information will be published on Traficom’s website so that they can be used by shipping companies and vessels.
