Programming licences for radio broadcasting

Traficom is the competent authority in programming licence issues. Traficom both grants programming licences for analogue radio broadcasting and processes related amendment applications. Licences are granted during application rounds. If there are more applicants than available frequencies in some regions, the matter is transferred to the Government.
