Passenger’s or bystander’s notification of safety deficiency in rail transport

You can notify a safety deficiency in rail transport via email to rautatieturvallisuus@traficom.fi .

The email address should not be used for complaints about railway company’s customer service, transport punctuality, rail transport noise or overall dissatisfaction with a railway company.

The content of a notification

• Time
• Location
• A description of what has happened
• Would you like to be contacted concerning the notification

How we use the information

Traficom uses received information to detect safety threats and safety trends. We do not respond to every feed separately, the notifications are used in continuous safety work.
