Traficom's partners provide services based on data contained in the Transport Register for private individuals and businesses.

Services for private individuals

Register queries

Companies that have an agreement with Traficom provide private individuals services that make it possible to submit queries for data from the Transport Register based on the registration number or vehicle identification number concerning a vehicle’s technical data and data connected with its registration. The services can be accessed online, via text message, and by telephone. The services are subject to a fee. The prices and the content of the services are available on the service providers' websites.

Services for businesses

Direct marketing services

Companies and other organisations can be provided with mailing addresses from the Transport Register for direct marketing and market research. The addresses are supplied by companies offering direct marketing services, which have an agreement with Traficom.

Enquiry services

Companies that have an agreement with Traficom on providing enquiry services may offer register enquiry services to companies based on registration numbers or vehicle identification numbers.

Marketing statistics

Various market statistics are also produced in the Transport Register. The statistics are tailored according to the customer's needs.
