Delays in Traficom services and functions due to strike at Posti
Some delays are expected in the services and functions of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom because of postal workers’ strike at the Finnish postal and logistics service company Posti. Traficom is prepared for delays in the delivery of letters and encourages its customers to use electronic services. According to the Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU, the strike will begin on Monday 11 November at 6.00 in the morning and continue until Sunday 24 November at 24.00 (midnight).
In Traficom’s e-services, you can check tax and other information on your own vehicles as well as information on your watercraft, driving licence and radio licences, for example.

Vehicle taxes can be paid via e-services
You can check your vehicle tax details and pay your taxes in Traficom’s electronic service channel My e-Services. This way, you do not have to worry about whether you will receive your tax bill in time. The due date of vehicle taxes has been postponed to ensure that tax letters will reach customers before the due date despite the strike at Posti.

Delays in the delivery of driving licences, licences and decisions by post
Delays are expected in the delivery of driving licences and, for example, decisions and other transport-related licences and certificates to customers. Delays are also expected in the delivery of vehicle registration certificates and registration plates.
Similarly, the delivery of applications and other mail to Traficom will take longer than usual.
In certain situations, decisions on transport licences for passenger and goods transport can be collected from a Traficom office.
