New rules on displaying taxi fares as from 1 September – must include fare for an example journey

Many passengers are already familiar with the black-and-yellow fare table displayed on taxis. New rules will change the contents of the table of fares. The table must, for example, include a fare for an example journey and mention any additional services provided to special passenger groups. The requirement of displaying a table of fares concerns taxi journeys starting from a taxi rank and other journeys without a pre-order or pre-booking.
