A registration fee will be imposed on ships starting from 2024
Ships in the register are subject to a registration fee starting from 2024. The fee is EUR 60 per year.
In 2024, the registration fee will be charged from those ships that are in the register on 1 October 2024. Possible changes to the registration information of the ship must be declared before that so that they impact the fee.
In 2025, the registration fee will be charged from the person who is entered as the owner in the register on 1 January.
The registration fee covers the possible changes made to the registration information of the ship. For example, a separate fee is no longer charged for the change of ownership and deletion is free of charge. The documents of the ship, such as a certificate of nationality, continue to be subject to a fee.
