An organisation can have a street address or a postal address.
The addresses of organisations’ head offices are obtained from the Business Information System. Changes to head office address information can be notified at https://www.ytj.fi/en/index/notifications/notificationsofchanges.html (External link)
The addresses of organisations’ secondary business locations are obtained from Traficom. The address information of a secondary business location can be changed on Traficom’s My e-Services, under the Organisation details section.

Vehicle registration and taxation
Registration certificate
Registration certificates are always sent to the organisation’s postal address.
Vehicle taxation
An organisation’s vehicle tax bills are sent to the address recorded in the Transport Register.
An organisation’s vehicle tax bills can also be sent as e-invoices or to a separately notified invoicing address.

Registration of watercraft
If the organisation only has a postal address, the watercraft registration certificate will be sent to the organisation’s postal address.
If the organisation has a street address in addition to a postal address, the client can choose which address they want the certificate to be sent to if they are using the service on behalf of the organisation to which the registration certificate will be sent. If the client is ordering a registration certificate for another owner or holder that is an organisation, the registration certificate will always be sent to the organisation’s postal address.
Only the addresses of head offices can be used in connection with watercraft registration; the addresses of secondary business locations cannot be used.
Watercraft information products beta service
When the watercraft information products beta service is used by a private individual, the invoice for the ordered information products will be sent after the fact to the client’s (natural person) permanent address. The address information is sourced from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s Population Information System. The address used is shown in the service in the order summary.
When the watercraft information products beta service is used by an organisation, the invoice will be sent to the organisation’s postal address. The organisation’s address information is sourced from the Business Information System. Organisations can change their e-invoicing address on Traficom’s My e-Services if they prefer to receive e-invoices. The address used is shown in the service in the order summary.
If the address shown to the client in the service is incorrect, please submit a notification of change to the Population Information System (natural person) or the Business Information System (organisations).
Invoicing
Companies can receive their vehicle tax bills as e-invoices or by post to a separate invoicing address. If Traficom is not given a separate postal address for invoicing, the tax bill will be sent to the address recorded for the company in the Transport Register.
