IMO member state audit scheme final report for audit of Finland
The IMSAS audit of Finland’s maritime administration was carried out from 28 October to 4 November 2024.
Traficom coordinated the national preparations for Finland’s IMSAS audit, the practical arrangements for the audit and the follow-up of audit observations together with other competent authorities.
The IMO Member State Audit Scheme, IMSAS, is the audit scheme of the International Maritime Organization IMO for its Member States. Through IMSAS, IMO assesses how a Member State fulfils its obligations under international maritime conventions as a flag, coastal and port State.
