Jukka Hannola has been appointed Director-General of Civil Aviation at the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. Hannola holds a Master of Administrative Sciences degree and is a qualified air traffic controller.
State-subsidised scheduled air services to five regional airports to continue until April 2024

Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom has concluded contracts on the utilisation of the option with Finnair Oyj to allow state-subsidised scheduled air services between five regional airports and Helsinki to continue until 28 April 2024.

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency has given airlines operating flights from China to Finland a recommendation to follow the guidelines issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) concerning COVID certificates.
