Recognised experts

A recognised expert may issue a report on a vehicle’s or component’s conformity in connection with national type-approval, individual approval or the registration inspection of vehicles imported as used.

HA class

HA class recognised experts perform testing and inspections for national small series, national type-approval and individual approval.

HC class

HC class recognised experts perform testing and inspections for individual approvals.

Traficom approves experts to carry out tests for the type-approval of studs and tyre–stud combinations.

Applications

With this form, recognised experts can apply for approval from Traficom or changes to the scope of competence and submit other notifications regarding their activities.
