However, if the disclosure of information requires the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency to sub-contract work to third parties because of, for example, the large volume of data or some other technical reason, the customer will be charged the costs incurred by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency for such work.
Companies offering direct marketing or information service products may enter into an agreement with the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency on the disclosure of data from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency's registers.
A monthly fee entitles contract partners to receive a file from the Transport Register that they can use as a data source in the production of direct marketing services.
The monthly fee entitles partners to offer the following direct marketing services utilising vehicle data from the Transport Register:
Analysis services EUR 1 375.00 per month.
Partners are entitled to use and refine the file in order to create “intelligent” services that enable them to offer separately invoiced services to support address sales. The analysis services must be associated directly with address sales, and the focus must be on refining the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency’s database in such a manner that the target is a car buyer.
Address lists selected for direct marketing EUR 0.12 per address.
Address lists and telemarketing contact lists selected for direct marketing, including follow-up lists for support.
Reuse of a previously selected address list within two months of the first mailing (same marketing operation).
Exception: For mailings of customer magazines during a calendar year, the address price is charged for the first mailing, and the alignment price for subsequent mailings. For any new addresses included in the target group, however, the address price is charged.
The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom provides its contractual partners with information from the Transport Register for the production of market information services. Based on a contract, Traficom may disclose extracts from data on first registrations, vehicles and corporate customers, technical details of vehicles and/or vehicle stock statistics.
The fixed fee comprises the costs incurred by the selections for the file to be provided.
Licence prices are company-specific monthly fees. The price also includes the possibility of supplying a customer with separate statistics created from the same data. The licence price is charged continuously for one customer.
Data products that customers can download from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency’s e-services:
Training services based on order or commission (training other than for regulatory duties).
Any compensation specified in the State’s Travelling Regulations will be added.
Participation in training arranged by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency price determined specifically for each event.

In addition to the fee specified in the price list, a separate, fixed postage fee may be charged for postal items. The fee is EUR 5.60.
When items are posted abroad or dispatched by means other than by post, the dispatch or postage fees exceeding the fixed fee are charged in full.
Payment reminder is EUR 5.00.
The payment reminder fee is charged if an invoice for the above services priced on commercial criteria is not paid by the due date. Under section 6 of the Decree on Criteria for Charges Payable to the State (211/1992), the Interest Act is also applied to delays in payment.
The charges in this price list have been determined on the basis of commercial criteria as referred to in section 7 of the Act on Criteria for Charges Payable to the State (150/1992). Any disputes concerning charges for these performances shall be processed as civil actions in a district court.
