Health requirements for urban rail drivers

Working as a urban rail driver requires meeting health requirements.

A person operating an underground train, tram or rolling stock unit used for maintaining the rail network must meet at least the Group 2 health requirements laid down in the Driving Licence Act (386/2011) and the driver health guidelines issued under the Act. Drivers of underground trains must also have normal colour vision.
