Autogyro pilot licence
With an autogyro pilot licence (APL), you can fly solo with an autogyro.
The APL can also include the right to carry passengers, enabling you to fly with your friends, for example. You can share the costs with your passengers but cannot charge them for the flight.
How to apply for an autogyro pilot licence

Age requirement
When you apply for the licence at Traficom, you must be at least 17 years old.
- Step 2
Training
The training includes theoretical knowledge and flight instruction.
- Step 3
Medical certificate
To start flying solo, you are required to have a medical certificate.

Skill test
You can take the skill test after you have completed the theoretical knowledge instruction and flight instruction.
