Accessibility statement for scrapping premium

Traficom aims to guarantee the accessibility of its web service in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019.

This accessibility statement applies to the Scrapping premium.

Accessibility status

The web service partially meets the Level AA requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Non-compliances with the requirements are mentioned below.

Non-accessible content

The content mentioned below is not accessible for the following reasons: Non-compliance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019.

Visuals

  • Contrasts: The contrast of the ”Clear selections” button is poor under mouse focus when returning from the Preview stage back to the Providing information stage. (WCAG 1.4.3)

Structure

  • Ilmoitukset: Joitakin ilmoituksia ei lueta ruudunlukijalla automaattisesti. (WCAG 4.1.3)

 Form elements

  • Adding an application number: When a value is added to the Application number field, the page updates dynamically, but nothing is announced via a screen reader. (WCAG 3.2.2, 4.1.3)
  • Date entry: When focusing on the date field, the calendar element opens automatically and assistive technology users are forced to navigate through it, even though the calendar element is not accessible. The visible label of the date entry fields and the accessible name do not always match. (WCAG 2.5.3, 3.2.2, 1.3.1, 4.1.2)
  • Invalid form elements: Some invalid form elements are not programmatically marked as invalid. If the error text of a form element changes, it is not announced via a screen reader. (WCAG 3.3.1)
  • Error summary: The error summary lacks a programmatic heading level and a list element. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • User details: Some fields request user-related information to be filled in, but the fields lack the autocomplete attribute, which means some assistive technologies may not function correctly with these fields. (WCAG 1.3.5)

Element-specific observations

  • Mobile menu: The mobile menu region has not been programmatically marked. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Header drop-down menus: When opening the header drop-down menus, screen reader and keyboard focus automatically transfer to the first button in the menu. In addition, keyboard focus becomes trapped inside the drop-down menus. (WCAG 2.4.3, 1.3.2, 2.1.2)
  • Adding attachments: Adding or removing an attachment is not announced via a screen reader. (WCAG 4.1.3)
  • Question tree: When answering the questions in the question tree, a new question appears in the view, but this is not announced via a screen reader. (WCAG 3.2.2, 4.1.3)
