Retrieve tax debt data

Check whether you have unpaid vehicle tax, vehicle tax based on reassessment and additional tax, car taxes imposed after first registration, or fuel fees.

When can you retrieve information about your tax debts?

You can retrieve information about your tax debts, for example, for debt adjustment or when you want to check your unpaid taxes.

In the service, you can only check your own outstanding taxes and fuel fees. An outstanding tax or fuel fee may be due for payment or already overdue.

What tax debt information can you check?

You can check whether you have unpaid

  • vehicle tax
  • vehicle tax based on reassessment and additional tax
  • car tax imposed after first registration
  • fuel fees.

How can you pay your tax debts?

You can check your tax debts in the service, but you cannot pay them there.

You can pay vehicle tax and vehicle tax based on reassessment and additional tax in the Pay tax service.

You cannot pay car tax after first registration or the fuel fees in the My e-Services service.

How to retrieve tax debt data

  1. Step 1

    Log in to My e-Services

    After identification, select your service role: personal services, acting on behalf of another person or acting on behalf of a company/an organisation.

  2. Step 2

    Retrieve tax debt data

    Select Vehicle Taxation on the home page.

    Then select Retrieve tax debt data under Services.

    Enter the date up to which you want to check your tax debts.

  3. Step 3

    Check your tax debt data

    The service displays the amount of your unpaid taxes. You can print or save your tax debt data.

If you cannot use My e-Services, you can request information about your tax debts by post.

Include the following information in your request:

  • your name
  • your personal identity code or Business ID
  • your address
  • your telephone number or email address
  • the period for which you want tax debt information.

The tax debt data will be sent to the address recorded for you in the Population Information System.
